Stolen Car
If you haven’t already read on our Facebook updates, our car was stolen the night before I was released from the hospital. That was a horrible blow to the end of a traumatic birth experience. Noah saw the footage of our car being taken on the security tapes, but they couldn’t make out the license plates of the other vehicle involved. We’ve reported it to the police as stolen and submitted a piece of the door they removed during the theft that they left on the ground, in order to obtain finger prints. It’s been over a week and we’ve heard nothing. We aren’t in a position to buy a new car and are trusting God through this time. We’ve been generously given a vehicle to use for a little while but we’ll need to find a permanent solution in the next 2 weeks if nothing shows up. Not sure what we are going to do! Please be praying the car shows up! Thanks so much!
**Update – 1 June 2012** We’ve been given a generous donation from the lovely folks at New Covenant Church (in Larkspur, CO) which will help to offset a bit of the cost of a new vehicle. We just wanted to say an incredibly humbled and heart-felt ‘Thank you!’ to those of you who have shared you hard-earned sustenance with us – and to those who continue to pray for us.
